Our standard
How we test
Most viral products are made to look good in a 15-second clip. We care about day 15, not second 15.
1. We only test what people actually want
We watch which products are gaining real momentum on TikTok and Instagram — creator posts, comment sentiment and repeat mentions — and ignore anything that only looks good in paid ads.
2. Five testers, fourteen days minimum
Each product goes home with five people whose lives match how it's meant to be used: parents for car gadgets, runners for recovery tools, small-flat dwellers for space-savers. They use it daily and log what breaks, what disappoints and what they'd rebuy.
3. Four out of five must keep it
At the end of the test, we ask one question: “Would you keep using this if it were yours?” If fewer than four testers say yes, it doesn't get stocked. We also check safety marks (UKCA/CE), materials and the honesty of the original listing.
4. We publish the downsides
Every product page shows our verdict and what we didn't love. We'd rather you buy with your eyes open than send something back.
5. We keep testing after launch
Returns reasons and verified reviews feed back into the report. If a product's return rate climbs or quality slips between batches, it comes off the shelf.
